Reading the River virtual reading April 2020: Irina Frolova

The second reader who was supposed to read at the March Reading the River reading at the Cottage Gallery at Brooklyn, 10 Dangar Road, Brooklyn, was Irina Frolova. In the absence of the physical reading we are proud to present Irina as our second virtual reader.

Irina Frolova was born in Moscow, in the former Soviet Union. She moved to Australia in 2003, and now lives on the Awabakal land, in NSW, with her three children and two fur babies. Irina has a degree in philology from Moscow City Pedagogical University, and is currently studying psychology at Deakin University. Her work has appeared in Not Very Quiet, Australian Poetry Collaboration, Baby Teeth Journal, and The Blue Nib. Irina is a regular at Newcastle Poetry at the Pub where she was a featured poet in January, 2019. She is currently working on a bilingual pocketbook of poems to be published by Flying Island Books/ASM/Cerberus Press later in 2020.

You can get in touch with Irina through her public facebook page https://www.facebook.com/irinafrolova
