Over the past week Rochford Street Review passed a significant milestone – according to our calculations Lisa Wardle review of Karen Foxlee’s The Midnight Dress was the 100 review/article published on the Rochford Street Review website. During the same time we have generated close to 30,000 hits.
Our thanks goes to the wonderful reviewers out there (both experienced reviewers and those who have become critics for the first time on these pages) – who have written for us knowing that we didn’t have the means to pay for their work (I wish it weren’t so – I’m considering proposing a poetry tax on the mining industry so real talent and cultural sacrifice can finally be rewarded in this country!). And thanks to those publishers and organisations who have supported us by providing us with review copies, advance notice of events and publications and tracking down launch speeches and photographs.
Now onward to a double century!
Wow – hello Rochford St house!
