As part of the 2023 Sonic Poetry Festival berni m janssen will be presenting ENA. Coming of age in the ‘70’s, ENA, using poetic assemblage, reflects on the past, the imprint on the present and the patterns to be challenged. ENA tells the stories of a generation of women. berni m janssen, is a maker of poems, performances, projects and preserves. Amongst other things. Since the nineties, projects span multi/ interdisciplinary durational community engaged live art practices. As well as performances, books, print and online presentations. Always with words and language at the heart. Often works are made with other artists, composers, musicians, performers, poets, visual artists. Most recently, JOLT Arts has presented ENA, the book published by Hullick Studios. Radiophrenia 2023 presented murmurs:melt a collaboration between berni m janssen and Vicki Hallet & bombard remember, performed by Carolyn Connors, Margaret Trail and berni m janssen.
