YOU ARE WARMLY INVITED TO a reading of EKPHRASTIC POETRY+ afternoon tea and a short Open Mike. Date: Sunday 6th October, 2024 at 2.30 pm. Venue: The Kedumba Gallery, the old Principal’s cottage, 3 Matcham Avenue, Wentworth Falls. Entry: By donation

Come along and support the Gallery at this inaugural reading by 9 well-known poets, both local  and from outside the region. Be sure to time your arrival so you can view the current exhibition before the reading. You’ll be intrigued by the ways the poets wrap their imaginings around some of the wonderful drawings in the current exhibition, as well as other artworks of their own choosing. This event is a collaboration between Director/Curator Marlene Plummer, Friends of the Kedumba Gallery, and local poet, Louise Wakeling, who will MC the event.

Directions to the Gallery: Enter via the school gates on Matcham Avenue, and follow the sign on the left to the Kedumba Gallery and carpark. For those travelling by train, the Gallery is a short walk from Wentworth Falls station via the great Western Highway.
