Following up on the very successful Poetry readings at the Kedumba Gallery in Wentworth Falls, the next Reading, including the popular Ekphastic challenge, will be on Sunday March 1st at 2.30-approx. 4.30 pm. The main programme featuring Sheridan Linnell, John Watson, Raghid Nahhas, Zeina Issa and Mark O’Flynn, will be followed by afternoon tea and an Open Reading. The venue is the old Principal’s cottage in the grounds of the Blue Mountains Grammar.

Access is via the gates on Matcham Avenue – just follow the signs to the left of the gates to park adjacent to the gallery. Just look for the big red doors! For those coming by train, the gallery is a short walk from Wentworth Falls station.

Advice: Plan to arrive by 2.00 pm to view the current exhibition, including artwork by the winner of the 2025 Kedumba Art Award, Spencer Calveley, as well as key works from the collection.
Poets in the Main programme have been challenged to write at least one poem in conversation with a work in the current exhibition, a well as reading a selection of their work, approximately 10-12 minutes.

Those wanting to participate in the Open Reading should register on arrival on the form provided to ensure a place. Please note: ONE short, impactful poem only, and no reading from mobile phones.
