Rochford Street Review was saddened to hear that the Irish poet and writer Breda Wall Ryan passed away over night. Breda was a fine poet who we got to know while putting together the Contemporary Irish Poetry Supplement for RSR in 2017. She contributed six poems to that supplement and provided us with a wonderful insight into the Irish poetry scene. We offer our condolences to Breda’s family, friends and the wider Irish poetry community.
