‘Season of Brigid’ is a poem from Anne Casey’s new collection, The Light we Cannot See, and was also a cornerstone piece in the series of Irish cultural shows Anne performed in last year with the Prankqueans arts collective, which were funded by the Consulate General of Ireland. Irish actor/performance artist, Davog Rynne recorded a reading of ‘Season of Brigid’ which will appear on his forthcoming album. Click on the image below to play the recording.

Davog Rynne is a native of Miltown Malbay in County Clare. A singer, storyteller, poem teller, Bard and multi instrumentalist. He also goes by the stage name Gangani, an ancient druid from long long ago. His one man show Seeds of Hope opened in France to huge aclaim in 2019. Davóg is a nephew of acclaimed folk singers Christy Moore and Luka Bloom. He lives in the Beaujolais region of France with his wife and two children.
